Construction Updates

September Construction Update 2019

Internally, all demolition works are now completed. The external canopies have all been removed and the process of demolishing the lift overruns to facilitate the new staircases to access the roof garden has begun.

West wing

The show flats on the 4th Floor have been built and the final kitchen installs to the remaining flats are currently underway. On the 3rd floor, kitchen installation is also ongoing as is sanitaryware fitting to finished bathrooms. On the 1st and 2nd floor all partitions have been installed. In addition the raised access floor on the 1st floor has been installed with 1st fix 90% Complete.

East wing

The 2nd floor is now completely stripped out. Whilst on the 4th, 3rd and 1st floors, fix partitioning has been installed with acoustic flooring going in and 1st fix plumbing and electrics ongoing. The 1st floor partitioning to external walls is now 80% complete with raised access flooring starting in October. 90% of all windows are also now in place with the full building now scaffolded to allow new curtain walling to be installed.
