Construction Updates

June Construction Update 2019

Demolition works to the roof are on-going for the old Lyndon Place development in the east and west wings. The 4th floor east demolition works are now nearing completion, with the metal stud party walls now in position. The 4th floor west demolition works are now complete with the metal stud walls now under construction.

Across the development site, first fix plumbing works and electrics are ongoing, with further floors undergoing the following:

  • Third floor west: metal stud partitions ongoing
  • Second floor east: demolition works ongoing
  • Second floor west: metal stud partitions ongoing
  • First floor east: demolition works ongoing
  • First floor west: demolition works ongoing and metal stud walls started

Demolition works have also begun in the basement, with scaffolding to the west wing and east wing erected.

The cleaning of the brick work on the west wing rear elevation has now been completed with works starting on the front elevation. Canopy works are currently ongoing with the main canopy works to begin shortly.
